Built Environment Description – Krog Street Market

Tables and chairs, standing wine glass tables, brewery, open market shops/ eateries located all throughout the building, The shops/eateries line the inside of the building, shops are lined up all right next to each other in a circular pattern. Before you walk in to the main entrance, there is a separate brewry on the left and Immediately when you walk in it is an open space with a bar directly to the left and open seating are right in the front. The layout is a flat area with many shops set up to the left and right sides of you, and the whole building interior is set up with an oval shaped approach. Yes the space is open at first, then between the shops it is a bit constrained, however the layout is easy to navigate because there are no corners, it is not closed, the space is a bit crowed with tables in-between shops in the walkway area. Light wood colors, a lot of greenry with the flower shop, and organic vegetable shop, the walls are white, gray because of steel accents within the space, the ceiling, and chairs. The colors were neutral and had an ecofriendly vibe to them. Calm, but also sophisticated, earthy connected to nature but still elegant. Makes you feel calm because the colors are neutral and the shop vendors were very care free and had a go with the flow attitude, they were not pushy with products, The cliental made the environment feel sophisticated, upscale cliental, clothing they were wearing. Used as a market as well a hangout spot and a place to relax after work. They don’t really advertise, the...
