Crowd Behavior in the Purgatory

I was by the edge of the stage where a large loudspeaker was positioned around 1-2 feet above me. When a bass heavy song plays, my whole body would be shaking. It got to the point that you could feel the wooden floors shaking as well which made me feel as if there was a slight chance the purgatory level might collapse. Due to the low importance of the artist, the population density of the crowd was inconsistent. The closer you are to the stage, the tighter the space. There were various times in the show when the crowd would pushing back for no reason which led many people to drop on the ground and another wave of people would try to fill in those gaps to get closer to the...

Masquerade stage

One of the stages in The Masquerade In order to be in the masquerade, i purchased a ticket for a trap concert to listen to an artist called Lil Yachty. The Masquerade has three levels of indoor stages with Heaven being the biggest stage, then Hell and Purgatory respectively. Unfortunately the stage shown in the image was in purgatory. When looking at the stage, you are able to see blue lights shining behind the artists to direct the audience’s attention to them. Also, the white bald man at the bottom of the stage is one of the security who is placed there to control the crowd when certain listeners attempt to climb up the stage. Many individuals were successful in climbing up because of how low the stage was and how there wasn’t a sufficient amount of barriers....
